The Impact of Our Programs and Trainings

Abahizi Rwanda is committed to investing in the holistic well-being of their artisans and accelerating change. Since 2015, 300+ of artisans have benefited from our programs.

WORKPLACE EMPOWERMENT

A 2020 third-party employee annual survey revealed that Abahizi Rwanda’s artisans have reported consistent and continuous positive changes in relation to their technical skills, financials, health, literacy levels, and day-to-day lives.

Health Empowerment

The positive trend throughout the years demonstrates continued success concerning health and mental well-being empowerment. The report revealed that in general artisans have accurate knowledge of the composition of a balanced meal and maternal health. The report also showed that from year to year, the majority of artisans reported a high level of empowerment.

Social and Financial Empowerment

The communities where Abahizi Rwanda’s artisans reside have also benefited from the empowerment programs provided at the workplace. Not only has the third-party survey reported that the majority of artisans make household and financial decisions individually or jointly with their spouses, 96% of artisans actively participate or hold leadership positions within their communities.
